About Me
This is year 2 teaching and at NDDP. I am a graduate of St. Norbert College, however I didn't grow up in the area. My hometown is Sheboygan, WI. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my parents, family doggo (Ellie) and friends, creating art, trying new foods, baking, learning about different cultures, and reading theological literature of varying Christian sects. I was raised in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) and by God\\\'s grace was able to attend private, religious LCMS schools from pre-K to 12th grade. My educational journey continued at Saint Norbert College where I gained an even deeper understanding of the foundations of the Christian faith, educational strategies and skills, English as a Second Language methods, and the Spanish language. There, I was also able to experience the journey of a lifetime in Toledo, Spain and form connections with my host mom, Doctor Maria Purificación. She taught me about Spanish culture, Catholicism, and the importance of taking a break and enjoying life with those you love. I have previous experience teaching Bilingual (Spanish - English) 2nd and 3rd grade, as well as, teaching 7th and 8th grade Spanish and Bilingual 3rd grade (Spanish - English) through my student teaching assignments. I enjoy creativity, active engagement, and student choice in learning. I\\\'m excited to start another year here, and I look forward to teaching K-8 Spanish this year as the students and I learned so much together last year! Blessings!
