About Me
I am a third year teacher at Notre Dame of De Pere. I absolutely love teaching in the GRACE system and cannot imagine myself teaching anywhere else. Combining my love for faith and music is truly my ideal career.
Music has been a part of my life for literally my entire life...I attended the Music for Tots program at Silver Lake College before I was even born! My love for music has only grown as the years went on. The joy I find in band began in the 6th grade when I started playing the alto saxophone. Since then, I have learned to play every woodwind, brass, percussion and string instrument to ensure I can teach each student on whichever instrument they choose to study.
I hope that each child who leaves Notre Dame at the end of their 8th grade year has a foundation in music literacy and appreciation from their general music and band classes. That when they leave our school, they are able to read basic music notation, sing along with a familiar melody, and pass along their learned musical knowledge to others.
