We’ve had some awesome Mystery Readers this year…Mr. B, Mrs. Beauchamp, Mrs. Ludtke, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Enright, Mrs. Turba, Mrs. Hoeppner, Mrs. Drewieske, Mrs. Callahan, Mrs. Connor, Emily Hoeppner, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Adams, Mr. Diltz, Mrs. Dimmer, Mr. Moreno…they all did great! If you would like to be a Mystery Reader and you haven’t scheduled a day with me yet, please let me know!! 🙂

-Friday, June 1st: Sundae Reading Party!
-Tuesday, June 5th: End of the Year Picnic!
-Wednesday, June 6th: Last Day of School! Dismissal at 10:30am!
Nightly homework in our second grade classroom consists of reviewing and practicing what is learned in school. IRB (independent reading books) reading of 20 minutes, practicing spelling words, and practicing math skills.

-Collapsible Fold Up Camping Chairs (washable fabric surface would be best)
-Bean Bag Chairs (plastic, vinyl or other material that can be wiped off)
-Decks of playing cards (to be used for math games)
-Boxes of snack (crackers, granola bars, pretzels, etc) for when children forget their snack (please make sure it is nut/tree nut free!)
-Gift Cards for Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc (for classroom books and other supplies)
