The kids did a great job leading us in the All Saints Day Mass!! They were truly Saints in every way!! 🙂
Here are the awesome 2nd graders on the first day of school!! They are so happy to be in 2nd grade!! I know it’s going to be a GREAT school year!! 🙂

-Tuesday, February 26th-Field Trip to Barlow Planetarium in PM
-Friday, March 1st-End of 2nd Trimester, Full Day of School Because of Snow Days!!
-Thursday, March 7th-Optional Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4-8pm
-Friday, March 8th-Early Dismissal @ 11:30am, Optional Parent/Teacher Conferences from 12:30-3pm

Nightly homework in our second grade classroom consists of reviewing and practicing what is learned in school. IRB (independent reading books) reading of 20 minutes, practicing spelling words, and practicing math skills.

-Collapsible Fold Up Camping Chairs (washable fabric surface would be best)
-Bean Bag Chairs (plastic, vinyl or other material that can be wiped off)
-Decks of playing cards (to be used for math games)
-Boxes of snack (crackers, granola bars, pretzels, etc) for when children forget their snack (please make sure it is nut/tree nut free!)
-Gift Cards for Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc (for classroom books and other supplies)
