St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Mass

Invitation to St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Mass
Monday December 3 at 8:35am

The school Mass next week will be on Monday, December 3rd at 8:35 am for the Feast of St. Francis Xavier.   We encourage as many parents and family members as possible to attend this parish and school celebration. It is a great opportunity to connect both of our parishes and our school as together we celebrate one of our patrons.

The parish is named St. Francis Xavier because the first people to bring Christianity to North America were Jesuit priests who had a devotion to St. Francis Xavier. The first Mass celebrated in the state of Wisconsin was celebrated on December 3, 1669, the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, by Fr. Claude Allouez, SJ.

Note: December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is the Patronal Feast of St. Mary Parish. Masses for this Holy Day of obligation will be celebrated:

Friday December 7

5:30 pm at St. Francis Xavier

7:00 pm at St. Mary

Saturday December 8

7:30 am at St. Francis Xavier

9:00 am at St. Mary

Happy Thanksgiving

We here at Notre Dame feel blessed to have all of you in our lives. We are thankful for a great school that is filled with kindness and generosity. Blessing to all our parents, children and staff and enjoy the time spent as a family this holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving

This Christmas Season, the Notre Dame of De Pere school community is looking forward to spreading some extra Christmas Spirit in our local community. We have the opportunity to share our blessings with local families. Mrs. Mares, Mrs. Cramer, and Christian Outreach have identified families who would benefit from this wonderful program.

We have a wish list of gift suggestions and household needs attached. Monetary donations are also welcome, as we will use these to purchase hot lunch school meals and other requested items.

Items do not need to be wrapped, but it would be very helpful if you can mark which item you signed up for on the donation (i.e., Boy 2T pants). Please send all donated items to the school offices, labeled Adopt-a-Family at any point prior to December 7th as this will ensure that everything is wrapped and delivered to the families on time.
