St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Mass

Invitation to St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Mass
Monday December 3 at 8:35am

The school Mass next week will be on Monday, December 3rd at 8:35 am for the Feast of St. Francis Xavier.   We encourage as many parents and family members as possible to attend this parish and school celebration. It is a great opportunity to connect both of our parishes and our school as together we celebrate one of our patrons.

The parish is named St. Francis Xavier because the first people to bring Christianity to North America were Jesuit priests who had a devotion to St. Francis Xavier. The first Mass celebrated in the state of Wisconsin was celebrated on December 3, 1669, the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, by Fr. Claude Allouez, SJ.

Note: December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is the Patronal Feast of St. Mary Parish. Masses for this Holy Day of obligation will be celebrated:

Friday December 7

5:30 pm at St. Francis Xavier

7:00 pm at St. Mary

Saturday December 8

7:30 am at St. Francis Xavier

9:00 am at St. Mary
